That’s why he takes extra time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.
Many of our patients have never been to a chiropractor before, and our chiropractor takes pride in being “a great first chiropractor,” one who never rushes, never surprises you, and always puts your comfort first.
Before Your First Visit
If you’re able to schedule in advance, we’ll send you our initial paperwork (about 5 pages covering your health history, stress levels, and care priorities). This helps Dr. Cohen understand what matters most to you before you even walk through the door. On the day of your appointment, please wear loose, comfortable clothing, and bring any medical records or imaging results you have. We’ll provide gowns as needed, and we’ll take care of all other paperwork when you arrive.
Your First Appointment: A Full Hour of Attention
Our chiropractor dedicates a full hour to every new patient, with no exceptions. This first visit is all about listening to your story, understanding your concerns, and conducting a thorough examination. You won’t receive a chiropractic adjustment during this visit. However, if you’re in discomfort, Dr. Cohen may use gentle physiotherapy to help reduce muscle spasm and provide some relief. His goal is to gather all the information he needs to create a care plan that’s truly personalized for you.
Flexible Financial Options
Our practice is out-of-network with insurance plans, but we verify your coverage before you begin care and accept benefits whenever possible. We also accept Medicare, no-fault, and workers’ compensation cases. If you’re paying out of pocket, we offer flexible family plans and the option to purchase blocks of visits in advance.
We accept all major credit cards, including American Express and Discover, as well as Health Savings Account funds. Our goal is simple: money should never stand in the way of your health.
